Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Platform

The Private Interiorist ("TPI", "we", "the Platform") is a private, members-only marketplace for the sale of used fashion items as collectibles between consenting adults aged 18 and older. All transactions are conducted at arm's length between independent buyers and sellers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use TPI. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Identity and age verification is mandatory for all members.

3. What TPI Is

• A curated marketplace for pre-owned intimate apparel as collectible fashion items.
• A platform connecting sellers and buyers with verified identities.
• A payment facilitator using third-party processors (Stripe, Wise).

4. What TPI Is Not

• TPI is NOT a platform for sexual services of any kind.
• TPI does NOT facilitate physical meetings between buyers and sellers.
• TPI does NOT allow or tolerate explicit sexual content, nudity, or pornographic material.
• TPI does NOT permit the sale of items involving minors in any capacity.

5. Seller Obligations

All items listed are used fashion items that have been cleaned and presented as novelty collectibles. Sellers must not include explicit imagery, visible genitalia, or content that depicts sexual acts. Sellers are independent contractors, not employees of TPI. Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations.

6. Content Moderation

All listings require manual approval before becoming visible. Content depicting minors, explicit nudity, sexual acts, or illegal activity will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement. TPI reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.

7. Payments & Fees

TPI charges a 30% platform commission on each sale. Founding sellers receive 0% commission on their first 10 sales. Payouts are processed weekly (Fridays) via Wise or Stripe Connect. All prices are in USD.

8. Disputes

Buyers may request a refund within 48 hours of delivery if the item significantly differs from its listing description. TPI mediates disputes but is not liable for the quality or condition of items sold by third-party sellers.

9. Privacy

We collect only the data necessary to verify identity, process transactions, and operate the platform. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Identity verification data is processed by our third-party provider (Didit) and is not stored on TPI servers.

10. Termination

TPI may terminate any account that violates these Terms without notice. Users may delete their account at any time via Settings.

11. Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TPI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
